An Auld Alliance (ScoFra)

One could consider this a relationship that had stood the test of time Allistor had once mused. Of course there had been struggles and neither of them could say there hadn’t been times where it had looked to be all too much but that’s just the nature of relationships. They had survived, picked up the pieces and rebuilt, forgiven and moved on.

Allistor had to admit that when he’d first been introduced to Francis, his little brother’s university roommate and constant source of vexation, he hadn’t particularly liked him. The Frenchman had been vain to a fault and overly flirty, which didn’t exactly endear him to the Scotsman at first. If asked, Allistor could never tell the exact moment when things had changed between them; all he knew was one day he had the urge to run his fingers through those blonde locks and that was that, it just suddenly was.

The two started something, never looked back and had come out on top, something most couples couldn’t boast. The road behind them had been bumpy and the road ahead was foggy, but so long as they had each other, Allistor doubted there was anything they weren’t willing to face.
